| Forty hot air balloons will float into Tunica, Miss., November 9 and November 10 as the Tunica Balloon Bash gives visitors a chance to view Tunica from the sky. Tunica tourists and residents of the Mid-South will be treated to a weekend filled with balloon glows and tethered hot air balloon rides at four different casino resort properties.On tethered rides, visitors will have the opportunity to go up between 40 and 50 feet in the air in a balloon while it’s tethered and secured to the ground. In the balloon glow, hot air balloons will hover and glow as the sun sets. As the orange-tinted hot air balloons glow across the Delta, the visual of the glow and the view from the tethered rides will create a unique photo opportunity.Schedule:Friday, November 9 and Saturday, November 105:15 p.m. – 6:15 p.m. – Balloon Glow5:15 p.m. – 7:15 p.m. – Tethered Balloon Rides (first come, first served)All of the events will be held at The Fitz Casino and Hotel, Gold Strike Casino Resort, Hollywood Casino Tunica and Horseshoe Casino and Hotel Tunica in Tunica, Miss. |
